The audit aims to provide a method to ensure the rational prescribing of upper GI drugs through the implementation of agreed treatment guidelines that are individually discussed with each GP/practice. The audit will also provide a retrospective audit of dyspeptic patients within the practice using the Leicestershire Evidence Based Guidelines.
