Now that most of the chopping and changing of read codes for the Quality & Outcomes framework appears to have settled, it's a good time to review your templates to ensure they have all the relevant codes available. PCAG have updated all the LV templates in line with the latest code releases, including the January 04 Read Code release and the adjustments to Q+O for January (Version 4.0 released on DoH website in February, dated 04/02/04).
Lists of codes used in the PCAG templates are on the website in the template download files. However, for many it will be easier just to check visually whether their template obtained from PCAG is still up to date. To this end we have prepared screen shots of bits of the latest templates. If the equivalent bit of the template you got from PCAG before looks different from these then you will need an upgrade. Simply download the new templates off the site and import as before and they should replace the existing ones, without the need to edit the hierarchy as you did the first time around.
The screen shots are as follows
1) Top of full IHD template, HF template and CHD diagnosis template
2) Top of diabetes template (the diabetes diagnosis bit for those using the protocol)
3) Top of respiratory template
7) Exception reporting template
