The PCAG Audit Oscars was held on Friday 28 November 2003 at the Midlands Conference Centre, Leicester City Football Club. Contributors to the Primary Care Audit Resource Book, launched at The Audit Oscars, were invited along with representatives from PCTs, the Clinical Audit Commissioning Manager from CHI (Commission for Health Improvement) and the Chief Executive of the Open College Network South East Midlands.
A drinks reception provided the opportunity for introductions prior to dinner where guests enjoyed a three-course meal and coffee in a relaxed atmosphere. Tracy Johnson, PCAG Deputy Manager, gave a brief history of the course prior to the launch of the Primary Care Resource Book and updated everyone on PCAGÂ’s plans for a distance-learning course in response to nation-wide interest.
