The Clinical Audit Skills Course was established in 1997. Over the last six years in excess of 150 staff from primary care, community based settings and colleagues from the local Mental Health Trust have joined the course.
With so many learners undertaking the course the Leicestershire PCAG have built up a wealth of clinical audit resources through the completed projects that learners have submitted for accreditation. Leicestershire PCAG has now published some of these completed projects as a resource for professionals in the wider healthcare community. The resource book relates specifically to the community healthcare and mental health based audits that have been undertaken since 1998 when the course opened to this group of professionals. We have selected twenty-two audits to share with you, they come from across a wide variety of disciplines and many of the audits have very diverse aims and objectives.
A further resource book is planned for publication later in 2003 with the focus of this being the primary care and general practice based audits that have been undertaken over the last six years.
